HELP!!!!!

Dear Dr. Finney
You have a fantastic website! I've been on the phone with Medicare, Aetna and DMHC, [Department of Managed Health Care] the new agency that takes the place of the Secy of State for HMO complaints as I am sure you are aware. I've been trying to find out which supplemental health care plan to choose since I will be 65 in November of this year. My husband is still employed and we pay over $100 per week for my Aetna Open Choice plan.

But now I'm beginning to have my doubts about leaving this plan. I've found out inadvertently that each one of these Managed Care Plans have a "capitation fee" for each member…I've talked with the DMHC to find out what mine is and they became very agitated…no wonder…no one wants me to know this…not even the new regulatory agency that's in charge! I've sent emails to DMHC and if I don't get an answer to this I guess I see that my mission is to go to the website and call the Director and ask him why that isn't a part of the new regulations…everyone should know what their "capitation fee" is.

I'm located in [San Diego]. You may call or email me, whichever is convenient. Thank you for your website and information…there's a special place in heaven reserved for someone like yourself…hope you're around for a very long time.
